Yes, right now I’m just a Mommy by profession.
I work only 24/7 days a week, and I am there for my small “clients” around the clock, until the rest of my life.
I am writing this post sentence by sentence, depending on whether someone wants to drink a cup of water, or whether I need to change a diaper, feed somebody, put them to sleep, kiss auaaa, repair the doll whose hand fell off, help standing up (if necessary), praise, or say LOVE YOU 10 000 times…
and all this WITH ONLY ONE HAND, while I am:
Shopping, preparing lunch, taking my child to a doctor for a check up, doing the laundry (ironing is another story), tidying up the living room, cleaning the bath, going to the toilet (yes, all three of us go there together). Doing different fashion and hairstyles, putting the pans and dishes back into the kitchen closet, managing the household, which is nowadays like working in the office, only at home, ALL OF THIS WITH ONLY ONE HAND …
Why am I writing about this?
Because I want to be a modern mommy, to set an example, not only for my children, but also for other moms and women. There are so many things in my head that I can not say to anyone around me without having to listen to the comments like “You are just sitting at home with your children, anyway”. And I’m quite sure I’m not the only one. For some, I’m just a MOM.
For my angels I am their whole world, and I want to share this world with you, because it is nevertheless, wonderful there. 🙂
